“In the Footsteps of the Savior” – a 6-week co-ed study on the life of Jesus.

Have you ever wondered what the Holy Land might have looked like through Jesus's eyes? In this 6-week Bible study, we'll look at three distinct aspects of Jesus' life: the arrival of the Savior, Jesus's ministry, the crossroads & the cross. As we see the places that Jesus walked from a new perspective, we'll deepen our connection with the King of the universe who became the Savior on the cross. Facilitator: Pastor Phil Roy. *This class is also offered on Monday evenings.

FBCL is honored to be a host church for this Ladies’ BSF group. The 2025-26 BSF year has concluded, & the new class year will begin in September 2026. A preschool & school-age program is also available.

What is "Precept Bible Study"? Using observation (what does it say?), interpretation (what does it mean?), and application (what does it mean for my life?), we will use the inductive Bible study method as a valuable tool in understanding and applying the principles of God’s Word.

Sunday School is an integral part of the life of First Baptist Church of Lakewood. It is our main form of small group Bible study for all ages. It can be difficult to create & cultivate friendships in a large setting like a worship service, but Sunday School classes allow opportunities to build relationships & walk "shoulder to shoulder" through the ups & downs in life.
